YMUN Youth Summit 2026: A Celebration of Diplomacy, Leadership and Youthful Spirit
On 3rd and 4th October 2026, Convent of Jesus and Mary, Ambala Cantt, transformed into a vibrant hub of learning, leadership and diplomacy as the school hosted an electrifying Youth Summit in collaboration with Youth’s Movement to Unite Nations (YMUN).
The prestigious two-day conference brought together over 500 delegates from more than 35 schools, providing young minds with a dynamic platform to engage in thought-provoking debates, exchange perspectives and deliberate upon pressing global issues. The summit was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Shri Sachin Gupta, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Ambala, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Henna Gupta, IRS.
Beyond the intensity of committee sessions and spirited discussions, the campus resonated with enthusiasm, camaraderie and youthful energy. The delegates displayed unmatched excitement during the Socials on Day 1, which were wonderfully executed by DJ Shayna, adding a vibrant and memorable dimension to the conference.
Adding another feather to the cap of the institution, Convent of Jesus and Mary, Ambala Cantt, was adjudged the Best School, while CJM Shimla secured the Second Position. The achievement was a proud reflection of the students’ preparation, participation and commitment to excellence.
The monumental success of the summit was made possible through the visionary leadership of Mr. Hemanksh Gupta, Founder and Chairman of YMUN, and his dedicated core team. Their months of meticulous planning, perseverance and seamless execution brought the entire vision of the summit to life.
The unwavering support of the school authorities played an equally significant role in ensuring the success of the event. Their encouragement, guidance and provision of excellent infrastructure created an ideal platform for young leaders to learn, engage and shine.
The Organising Committee also deserves special appreciation for working tirelessly behind the scenes. From logistics and hospitality to coordination and crisis management, every aspect was handled with remarkable precision and commitment.
When the curtains finally came down, the YMUN Youth Summit proved to be much more than a conference. It became a celebration of ideas, leadership, teamwork, friendship and youthful enthusiasm, leaving the participants with enriching experiences, cherished memories and smiles that lasted well beyond the two-day event.
The summit truly embodied the spirit of empowering young minds to engage, deliberate, lead and make a difference.
